Description
This is my version of the evil robot Maximillian, who is the second-in-command aboard the U.S.S. Cygnus, under command of Dr. Hans Reinhardt from Disney's sci-fi adventure "The Black Hole" from 1979. I've been wondering what a manga version of him would look like if he was drawn that way. So here's the result. Hope it satisfies your eyes.Related content

Very possible! I think though they wouldn't change it. I remember seeing both Max and Vincent in "Battle Angel Alita", stored down in Edo's vault below the cybershop in Scrapyard City.

I was thinking about doing a Black Hole Rpg, however before I go through all the hard work of setting up an RPG page I was curoius if you'd be interested.If I did this would you be interested in playing?

I like it! Great work... add the sinister eye glow and some ready-if-he-needs-em blades of death and Manga Max is set!

Been trying to. The glow isn't too hard, but the blades could be a bit challenging to set exactly correct.

It's very nice on it's own merit. But doesn't really pack the fearsome OOMPH to it the original did. Max was scary. A metal angel of death.
Not trying to put you or your work down mind you. It would make a good guard or soldier in some other series. But it looks a little TOO humanoid
