alerye commissioned me to some drawings of our esks, so I made some ipad doodles while travelling (with varying degrees of success with the brushes hahaha) The middle one I had to add a small travelling companion as a bonus!

What are your favourite brushes to use for procreate if I may ask? c:

Ahhh of course! I use the uhhh Nikko Rule under brushes (painting), modified a bit to have a more tapered edge, and then for harder details I just use Calligraphy Pen (inking). I haven't managed to perfect the others yet RIP Q_Q (though for big leafy things I just use lassoo then nikko to fill it in for texture). If you have any brush recommendations for Procreate I'd love to hear too!!

I also use the Nikko Brushes sometimes, even though I haven't been able to change them to my liking ;>v>
so I mostly just use it for rock texture
I also got a fine brush that is awesome for soft strokes and soft fur like in my last piece that I found on the procreate
forums, but I can't seem to be able to find it again... I think it is something like a legacy style brush from early procreate

hope I could share something interesting c: I'm still quite the noob when it comes to drawing on my ipad, I feel like my art looks 30%
worse than with photoshop haha but my tablet stopped working so no choice rn //tears

Oh my god I didn't even know I could dl more brushes on Procreate this OPENS UP SO MANY OPPORTUNITIES thank you so much Q__Q and also for sharing! I think Procreate annoys me because I couldn't figure out how to move layers below the most bottom layer, and a few like lassoo/selection things I do not like but it is definitely better than nothing. I definitely feel like a noob, ipad is sort of just my like ghetto "this is why my art sucks no really this is why it sucks" card HAHA. I appreciate it a lot though Q_Q thank you for all the helpful feedback, wahhh so sorry to hear about your tablet too D:

haha if you have any questions on important brushes in procreate, let me know!! it's a really slow process, especially if you have multiple brushes you wanna import...
the procreate forums have all the help you will need, when I started with procreate I also watches some awesome youtube videos with "5 cool things you can do in procreate" and stuff, that really helped too! that's how I found out how to create "outer glow" around my work or make a workaround around linked layers and such!
Oh I can also recommend searching for gradient brushes, they are awesome, just need some time to get used to! c:
