The most interesting thing about the photo is that it almost looks painted... great work

I am very happy to hear that from someone else as years ago when I was just getting started with photography, I used to watch a photographer who applied the same techniques and his photographs to looked painted as well. He never told me how he did it, but I figured it out myself eventually.

Nicely done wide angle render.

Just a fun fact I thought I would throw in here. The ocurance of red tide is due to a large quantity of the toxic microbes known as dinoflagellates. The name "red" tide comes from the red bioluminescence that these diatoms give off.
