Description
A big American Alligator (Alligator mississippiensis) patrols his costal marsh home, to the awe of many gawking tourists. These gators are resident on a barrier island and how they came to be there is somewhat of a mystery. Best guess is they were blown across the ocean channel during a strong storm.Photo taken on South Padre Island, Texas.

I'd be curious to know who wins more often, the gators or the pythons...

From the real corpse of a battle between them; the result is a true Stalemate !
Either phytons\anaconda's\Hybrids (<---- Yes they ARE real !) kill or stabilize the crocodile\gator & die when trying to shallow it; even explode when the alive crocodile tries to move !
Or crocodile\gator gives seriously good defense And the abomination snake backs off.
İts possible a gang\teamed up Crocodiles can kill s phyton\anaconda\hybrid but that's not recorded.... YET !
