Ok, as this is the first (and probably only) picture of Bloom I found in my favourites, here comes one hell of a theory:
As we all know, the Dragon Flame is the most powerful magic in the universe, only being rivaled by the Water Stars, the Dragon Flame´s exact opposite. It always bugged me how at first they said that the Water Stars and the Dragon Flame can´t exist in the same universe, but then the Winx got the Water Stars and even brought them close to Bloom, the Fairy of the Dragon Flame, without any problems.
From what I remember, the Dragon Flame (in the following just "The Flame") and the Water Stars (form now on just "The Stars") can be seen as Matter and Anti-Matter: They have the exact same properties, but act completely opposite to each other. Therefore, if they would collide, they would cancel each other out, which would cause utter chaos in the universe.
Or is it UNIVERSES?
You see, for two equal and opposite forces, such as the Stars and the Flame, it seems very unlikely, even impossible, that one gets to be the core energy of an entire universe, while the other doesn´t. This means that the objects the Winx got when looking for the Stars were just mere fragments, and that there is an alternate universe where the roles of the Stars and the Flame are reversed.
Ok, this was a rather short version of my actual theory, so tell me what you think about it.

But now I have so much hassle in real life, that I'm just watching cartoons and enjoying by the emptiness in my head after watching

Anyway, in my theory, this place where the Winx got the Water stars in S3 is sort of a neutral ground, where neither the Water Stars nor the Dragon Flame have any effect and thus can co-exist. Also, I´d like to see Bloom´s alternate version from the other universe.
