I felt sorry for this guy. He worked hard to try and get to be guardian and was turned down in favour of a novice.

I think their snakes are just an analogue of our demons. In this case, Mune managed to destroy the evil only in the heart of Necross. But in general, the snakes were always, and always will be as the universal dark force.
But why are they bright and glowing?
There are a lot of unrevealed moments and characters in this movie, in addition to the snakes, and I still can't find the answers.
- why master Yule didn't warn his disciple about the possibility of restoring the moon in an emergency (for several YEARS of training!),
- why Mune kept his magical abilities after the death of the Moon #1 (while everyone else lost it), and why the Moon #2 didn't melt,

well not everything has to make sense cause alot of movies have people filled with questions. But I wish that Mune would get his own tv show on Cartoon Network or Netflix that way we could expand more on this magical universe
