Stuff from an oldie toon called Mighty Max I've been watching recently, and of which probably nobody has ever heard. It's a bit silly, but I like the voice cast. And I generally end up watching all sorts of silly stuff.Related content

Well, it's to hope I might've finally improved a bit in this particular case. Hitherto I've always had to redraw the kids later on, and still they've usually looked too old or wrongly proportioned.

I remember Mighty Max!! And I had a million of those little mighty max handheld toy playsets, where you could wheel Max around the obstacles. Other girls had Polly Pocket handheld sets, I preferred Mighty Max. XD

Well, considering my favorite toys were He-Man figures, I guess I might've played with the MM ones too, had I been the right age. XD I remember the MM and PP toylines being advertised in catalogs back then, though.

I mainly based my assumptions on the very scant amount of MM art on DA, the difficulty of finding references, and that after mentioning about it in my LJ nobody really paid attention. Now suddenly everyone seems to know it.

I think you did a great job with the kid's face! And the way the shadow is cast over the characters is a nice effect! I never saw the show, but I'm willing to bet you did the characters justice!

Well, I didn't see it either until very recently. It's a pretty good one, though, and I hope I would've discovered it earlier. Mainly I love the voice acting.

Lol, I remember Mighty Max. I used to watch it when I was a little kid... I believe it was on in the mornings, and I'd watch it while eating my breakfast. <

If you mean Norman, he's tagging along all the time as 'the guardian of the cap-bearer' and pretty much smashes in everything that needs to be smashed in. I added a bit more details to the design, but the basic 7-foot overbuffed Viking shape is the same.
