It was in fact not the first time Geezer met Nil. This was yet another way Nil tormented him. She used his weakness against him.
"...Hello?" Geezer said questioningly towards the esk that intruded his pond.
"Hello." She sat down and scraped her claws against the cement. She didn't like the cement but having a laugh at the expense of another esk outweighed her discomforts.
"What are you doing here? This is my home... You shouldn't be here... it's my home... isn't it?" Geezer said angrily and confused.
"Is that a way to treat your dear friend, Geezer?" Nil curled and coiled her dodder from the top of her head, reaching it out to caress the side of his face. The laugh she let out sounded sinister.
"We're friends??" Geezer stepped a hopeful step forward. Maybe his friend could shed some light on why he couldn't remember a thing.
"The best of friends..." Nil said with evil thoughts and plots upon her mind. She was not going to help him remember a thing.
