ive never done long exposures with film - so i did some test shots, just to see how things work... this one came out quite good: while exposing an ambulance passed by and added that nice effect. especially the rail tracks look much better on paper than on screen... they actually glow like that night.just felt like sharing. seriously nothing special, just showing the sweetness of b/w film. get some as long as its affordable.
first time kodak plusx125 - im definitely shooting that film again, 28/3,5 at f8, exposure unknown... i let the nikon fa choose the exposure - stupid, i know.

Long exposures like this are a bit lame, but everyone has to do them at some point I guess.
The effect the ambulance gave is quite cool though. And the b/w gives it a nice twist. I like it when shots are 'supposed' to be in colours but they're not.

wie komme ich eigentlich bei langzeitbelichtungen auf meine belichtungszeit?
ich hab nur alte pentaxen ohne computerhirn, die können nur von 1/2000s bis 4s "denken".
kann ich mir das errechnen, oder gibts da skalen?

jein, du kannst weit-offen messen und dann durch anpassung von iso/blende die zeit hochrechnen. aber ist so eine sache... muss selbst noch eine bessere methode finden - hab leider keinen ordentlichen belichtungsmesser...

Dieses gepulste auftreten der Ambulanz-leuchte kommt wirklich gut.
s/w-Film ist wirklich ne schöne Sache.
Ich probiere derzeit verschiedene Filme durch, jedoch kann ich wohl nicht wirklich vergleichen, da ich nicht selbst entwickle.
Ilford HP5 ist bisher immer ganz gut geworden, ein TMAX100 sieht total versaut aus. Graue Suppe...ich weiss nur nicht ob unterbelichtet oder schlecht entwickelt.
Weisst du ob man beim TMAX irgendwas speziell beachten muss?
Demnächst probier ich mal APX400.
Tri-X konnte ich im Laden noch nirgends finden ;-(

hm, ich entwickle selbst und hatte eigentlich noch wenig probleme mit tmax100. scheint im kodak xtol recht gut zu kommen, wobei ich gehört habe, dass der tmax entwickler noch schönere töne macht (dafür aber auch körniger, was besonders beim tmax100 eh völlig egal ist, da er kein korn hat).
ganz anders beim apx400, den ich weder mit rodinal, noch xtol, noch d76 ordentlich hinbekommen habe... immer viel zu körnig und von den tonwerten zum schmeißen... keine ahnung, was ich da falsch gemacht habe. im endeffekt verwend ich daher nur noch trix für hochempfindliche sachen. schau zu, dass du trix bekommst - gefällt mir persönlich ein wenig besser als hp5.. wobei das sicher geschmackssache ist.
