I was looking at some stuff about adopting retired military dogs and then my train of thought deviated to a 20-ish year old Aron having a military-trained dog that was sort of his own. There were a few trained dogs in his unit, but his favourite was Kolinkar. He'd always play with him when he got the chance, though that probably wasn't as often as he would have liked!

Haha he'd never be allowed to train one of his own. Teaching your dog to sniff out the least disgusting MREs is not a useful skill on the field, Aron. This is why you can't have nice things.
