Ariel // Human Experiment

At the end of the Little Mermaid we see Triton willingly turning Ariel from a mermaid to a human. In his old age however, the transformation didn’t go quite right rendering Ariel into a half-fish/half –human hybrid. Her skin is composited of both human flesh and fish scales. She is subjected to experimentation.
