Wow, this is really cool ^_^
Seriously, I love the design and atmosphere
It reminds a bit old movies about gangsters from Chicago. In car like that I could drive around city like a boss
Its big, I'm sure there is a lot of space inside?
Is it 2-seater or 5 seats?

I know, that's why it's been off the road for so long, just can't afford to keep it in gas

US cars were the most gorgeous, but also the most terribly gas thirsty My favorites are 40's and 50's ones, lincoln continental 42 !!! thunderbird 55 ... Today, i think US cars are ugly, common, so unremarkable... Just as every cars itw imo.

I love the look of the first Continentals, though I lean more towards the cars of the 30's, because they were so big & ostentatious, like the Auburns, Packards & Cords. I also like Hispano Suiza, Bugatti, Talbot Lago & Delahaye. I definitely agree that American cars today are built for function not style

Another one of my favorites. I really wish I lived close by so, 1) I could meet you and 2) get to know your two fine cars. Hell, I'd definity chip in for gas just to take a ride.
Cadillac has had some real winners over the years. This was one of them. Cars today lack the style of say this particular one. They're nice, but something is missing.

Thanks again!
The original owner got every option available except 2:
heated seats (it was an AZ car & I don't need them up here, cuz it doesn't touch the pavement in the winter)
8-track player (would have made it unique, but wouldn't have wanted to hear any of the music I might have been able to find for it anyway! lolz)
The 2 things I wanted weren't available that year:
pop-up headlights (1968 was the last year for them)
moon/sunroof (1970 was the FIRST year for THEM!)
And thanks for all the s!

I didn't know heated seats were even available in '69. You learn something new everyday. I agree about the 8-track. Great when they came out, but today...
Always glad to fave your pics.

THANKS!
I was driving around here on the Cape with a friend, just after I'd bought the Monte from him, and I saw one tail light in a row of cars at an autobody repair shop & knew I had to have it. One-owner, AZ car whose owner had died & had just been shipped here for restoration...they had already repainted, but I bought "as-is" at (what I think was) a good price & did the rest myself. She PURRRS like a kitten now...at least she DID, the last time I could afford the gas to take her out on the road! lolz
