Description
An excerpt from the new page. Finally, a new period is being planned, but I won't start it until I redo most of everything for the first three periods. And as half my art has already been redone, that time is coming soon. Half the pages on the world anvil have been deleted as their contents have been compiled into single pages. This map depicts planet Brough shortly after a mass extinction event. - The Thriceous ended with a bang, as the breakup of Southaustra finally commences. A half of Southaustra already drifts northward, creating a mild sea separating the halves. The other half remains at the bottom of the world, remaining locked in a rather mild climate, actually. The Tetrassic period starts off a hothouse, as ocean currents pass uninterrupted around the world, making Yland a continent of jungles. Yland itself has turned 90 degrees left and is experiencing a period of mountain growth on its southwest coasts, as it is pressed into the northern half of Southaustra. Bastia has rapidly drifted west as a result of Yland's movement, and has wrapped around the world again, like The Nord two eras ago. This time, however, a subduction zone has appeared between Bastia and eastern Yland, and will eventually rip Yland apart and pull Bastia into that fragment, forming a new continent and uniting lifeforms that have never seen each other. -
