My first attempt at messing around in Terragen 3. Because of the limits of the current free version that I used, this was the best quality and size I could render, but it still took an astonishing 4,5 hours!
I have never used this way of working before, coming from Terragen classic straight into this whole new system was quite a challenge, and judging by the result I really need to work on my texturing and experiment more with these 3d clouds.

But because it's the first actual render I've made in about 8 years I'd thought it would be a welcome change to the same ol' art that has been here for years. (I'm actually not that disappointed with the end result. Can't wait to buy the full version soon and start experimenting wildly, but need some time to save money for that!)
