Using photoshop I painted these skyboxes for Timegate's Section 8. Each individual skyboxes were massive in size. It was a shame that in the Xbox version they cut down the resolution to save texture memory....which made them look like crap. SighRelated content

thats wonderful! im making a game too and i need to make something like that; but there is no tutorial to convert a simple image to a seamless skybox texture. can u help me with some links?

I didn't find any magic solution either. I simply failed 5 times per skybox and through trial and error plus iterative process I made them work. Gotta make mistakes before you get it right!

oh, that how it is... my problem is that i wanna draw a backgroud in cartoon style, so it cant be made from a real backdrops... hovewer, it my problem now, thanx for advice :3

Are you allowed to post the higher res versions of the skyboxes?
