That's an interesting observation, tbh!

In the title I was more alluding to her song, "Other Friends" ("Oh, that's right, I heard the story over and over again!") and the fact that she spent so much time stuck up there, but that's unintentionally pretty neat

Thanks! She's an amazing character for sure and her animation is hypnotic

I'm quite proud of this but at the same time I'm a bit regretful that it's the piece that I first posted and, consequentially, blew up as quickly as it did, since I've found a much better way to draw her in my style since

I'm not too satisfied with the face, though, I feel like giving her that sad-eyed look that Caesar has kinda took away from her personality? I may draw her with rounder eyes in the future

I'm stealing this idea from Erediell so that when I'm feeling like I need a motivation boost that I can come to this journal and pick a trade to do. I'm going to do a similar journal for requests, so keep an eye out for that.
Here are the requirements for doing setting up a trade with me.
1.) You have to be a watcher of mine.
2.) You have to have an account that is older than 3 months
[Unless you are a watcher who has migrated to a new account and let me know about that.]
3.) The trade must be of a similar effort. A bust for a bust, a chibi for a chibi, etc. All will be at least flat colored. 
Full Bodies will be rare.
[I will not be doing full color, full background pieces unless there is a special case. This is so I can do more trades.]

4.) Do not spam. You can leave a comment with the template and I will reply if I'm interested and I will send a note.
If I don't reply, that doesn't mean

that's what i thought when the teaser first dropped.. ah, such a painful but very steven universeish wait!
i've been reading meta from people about the movie but i haven't seen anything about her that seemed out of the ordinary, what have they said this time?

I can understand that, I drifted away from the show as well.
It's okay! The reason why she's hyped up so much is mostly because of her characterization, I think. Plus, she's a new gem, and when those are revealed fans have a habit of going nuts.

su's original script was set for five seasons because the crew wasn't sure if it would make it further than that (at least to my knowledge). change your mind was written to go big sorta like a series finale whether it would be or not but the show ended up being successful enough to get a movie and at least a sixth season (and maybe more!)
the crew has said the story as we know it is over and things will be different from now on but i guess we'll just have to see

Ah, makes sense I guess. Like I said, I used to love the show. I don’t hate it now, I still like it, but all the filler episodes where so… draining, for me at least

i've always been obsessed enough with the show to not mind the filler, yet even i was surprised to find out how little of it there was compared to the rest of the episodes once they were counted up
i think the hiatuses and quick bombs of plot stuff still managed to make the filler feel more drawn out for me

It did suffer from some seasonal rot, unfortunately. And that wasn't actually the ending! It has another season in store (just one more), so I hope some loose ends get tied up.

The writers did a REALLY frickin' good job portraying her issues in a serious and actually kinda realistic manner. 
I feel a bit strange whenever someone refers to her as just being "crazy", because, in reality, she's just so much more than that.

Yeah they really did their research. I don't know if it's like this with real people, but in my experience in animal rescue she portrayed a lot of traits that abandoned pets have

People say that she's got a lot of connections to Borderline Personality Disorder (difficulty controlling her emotion, bouts of anger followed by intense shame and regret, self-image issues, and a massive fear of abandonment), and, in all honesty, they seem rather accurate.

I've never heard of that comparison before, and, in all honesty, that makes the whole thing even sadder.

Yeah the attaching to one person, and getting legit hysterical if they leave for even one second. Being really reluctant to leave the things or places they're attached to. It was really heart-wrenching to watch this movie lol
