This is one of those pieces that honestly deserves the DD and fame it received. It's amazing.
The more I look at it, the more I see. My eyes are repeatedly thrilled, drinking it all in and never getting tired or having any reason to stop. There is always more.

I am a fan of the kind of 'clutter' that makes you see new stuff every time. Almost like you can attribute your thoughts to what you are seeing at the time - when you return, you are different, the piece is different.

I think recurring imagery is really neat.

its crazy what your brain will latch onto as well.
Certain landscapes in my dreams, items... etc. Things that will stand brighter in your memory when you wake up.
I try to write my dreams when I can - the more I do it, the easier it is to do it.

LOL, I wish I were coherent enough in the mornings to write down my dreams. XD It's cool that you use your dreams for art inspiration, too.

its best done if you can be coherent enough to just write a few words. just key points that you can come back to later when you wake up -
even if you have totally forgotten the dream, looking at those words will more than likely trigger your memory.
its a nice remembering technique.
