Finally an SG Autob - WAIT.
That's right folks, the once almost a Prime dude here isn't an evil Autobot. He's a friendly Decepticon!
I won't go too much detail but basically in my SG verse Smokescreen is pretty much the same as you know him, except more mature and experienced in the battlefield. He's always got a few tricks prepared and he's uncannily intuitive. Got a secret? Smoke might already know about it just from looking at you. He's somewhat like G1 Smokescreen.
The reason why he's a Decepticon has got to do with his history with Bumblebee. They used to be best friends, like brothers, until Bee decided to side the Autobots and Smoke almost joined him until he realised how Optimus Prime ruled like a cold dictator. For some time he remained in the grey area of Neutral until he made up his mind that he didn't want to be controlled by a leader who rules with fear - even if it meant going against his best friend - and joined the Decepticons, where he was warmly welcomed. Since then Smokescreen and Bumblebee were never on good terms with each other again and Bee's violent tendencies only worsened the longer he remained an Autobot. Now Bee practically hates Smoke and mocks him for "choosing the wrong side" because he's "weak and foolish".

Miko was supposed to be standing on his left shoulder originally but as I was drawing her pose I realised it wouldn't work so I moved her to stand on his arm... Yeah. As if it isn't a weird balancing act XD

Thanks! I wanted to make Miko wear cat ears/tail at first but decided she'd want to have fangs like Smokescreen, so I made her a vampire bat thing (idk what to call that costume lol) I'm glad you like Smoke and Bee's backstory!

They look awesome, though I imagine a giant robot knocking at your door for trick or treat would be terrifying enough on its own!

Thank you! Haha, that'd be a terrifying experience indeed and sure to scar several people for life. Though I'd imagine said giant robot, especially one that could transform, would most likely be in disguise while their human companion does the actual trick or treating XD Their alt-mode is their Halloween costume: robots pretending to be human vehicles!
OMG WAIT WHAT?! This must be some kind of coincidence! I did see your drawing of SG Smokescreen before (the one with Ratchet and they're out on a field mission or something), but wow, that'd be interesting. I'm totally looking forward to seeing that happen if you were to go ahead with that idea!

XD I feel sorry for the person getting a trick if they don't give sweets to that human!
Though I guess it depends on whether they're actually 'in disguise' or not, considering in G1 they just causally wandered in the streets and talked to people!
My initial thoughts was to have him starting out as an Autobot, as he grew up on a 'post war' Cybertron (as it's still inhabited in my AU) after Megs and the others crashed on earth. As a result he'd never actually met a real Decepticon or been in real combat (as Shockwave and the others left on the planet operate as an underground resistance rather than taking part in all out war), arriving on earth and encountering Megs and the others leads him to question his faction and eventually results in him defecting. It's probably a stupid idea though, it's a bit clichéd at any rate!

Haha that's true. Though in Animated, robots could freely destroy roam the city and no one gives a damn... It's set in the future anyway (if I'm not wrong), so giant alien transforming robots probably aren't that big of a deal to them XD
Ooh! It sounds interesting to me so far. I can't really gauge whether something is cliche or not until I see the story for myself, as I think it also depends on how the plot goes like how you decide to write it and how things connect. Sometimes cliche/common ideas can be good if written/executed well. Reading back my earliest story of my SG verse I'm honestly ashamed at how cheesy everything felt in how it was written. Nonetheless I just have to find ways to connect the future scenarios somehow and work on whatever was already established, so there won't be too much of a continuity error.
I think no matter how cliche or stupid an idea feels, it's still better than not trying at all. Your future self can look back and see how much you've progressed and you'd learn and understand better the direction you want for your story. Mainstream/cliche ideas and trial and error are usually the catalyst to something far greater in the future

Nice one, buddy! Though I do think that Smokescreen looks way cooler in this color scheme just like in Predacons Rising than in the earlier series of Transformers: Prime!

Funny, I actually prefer his earlier white colour scheme... Maybe because there was too much blue?? (don't get me wrong, I love blue, it's my fave colour) and I just couldn't stand the yellow XD It was painful for my eyes to see that combination lol
