I'm guilty of making a fox... or am I guilty because I made a fox? Anyways, just recently finished this nice fellow.Here some quick specs:
- Resin base with moving jaw (base made by me)
- Taxidermy glass eyes, nose and yaw set (nose is part of base, so out of resin)
- Tear duct vision, covered with black mesh (Frontal vision is good, though tunnel vision typical for realistic heads)
- Horse hair whiskers
- Red, black and white Monterey Mills Fox Fur (aka. MM Fox)
- Some airbrushing around eyes and muzzle
- Padding on the inside (edges, forehead and chin)
- Zipper in the back. Mask can be put on /off without opening it but it helps with cleaning a lot!
- Adjustable elastic straps for head
- Hinges out of 2,0 mm thick aluminum, glued and screwed onto lower jaw
- Lower jaw is reinforced for extra stability
- Moving jaw is done with rubber bands around hinges
- Drilled through nose for extra air flow
- Low weight of 750g (1.6 lb)
- No fan (not much space as foxes got small muzzles)
- Fits 23 size head (59 cm). Can be padded for smaller heads.
