Description
This is my third mask blank for my current project - another wolf as can be seen, though this one will be special.

The blank is made out of slush cast resin. The taxidermy nose was part of the clay model used to create the silicone mold for slush casting, so its out of resin as well, just painted black. For the teeth I got a ivory colored resin, so I just had to hand paint the gum and calculus. The eyes are 32 mm glass blanks which I hand painted... turns out I really like blue eyes. Hinges are made out of 2 mm thick aluminium. The black stuff around the eyes is apoxie sculp. To get a nice fit and some cushioning the edges and inside of the mask is cover with thin foam.

Everything is glued together using hot glue. The hot glue gun gets your best friend when building fursuits.

Next step: Fur application, trimming and vacuum cleaning afterwards.
