This event is known for when Celestial dragon Euphemia li Britannia "showed her true face".

This event happened three years before Luffy left his Home Island and in the same Year Ace left and started his pirate adventure.

The public would know this event as When it seemingly looks like Princess Euphemia one of the few kind-hearted celestial dragons was starting a commission where the common folk and the downtrodden could finally get their voices heard by the world government. However, to the public, this would only seem like a cruel trick, A sick game by the bloodthirsty Euphemia wanting to only slaughter the innocent who are foolish enough to believe in such words. Leading a massacre killing men women and children almost to the last person until the intervention of the Black Knights and the revolutionary army. However, the two forces working together were able to stop the massacre before it could be completed. But before they could get justice on the Black-Hearted Princess, her Knight swiftly came and rescued her.
