While playing the game, I got so excited during one of my runs that when a meteor flew by, I moved the wrong way and ended up screwing up so bad that I lost a couple more lives after making the same mistake over again.

Mainly just trying to make the functions of the arrow keys and mouse click work, and khan acadamy doesn't like my coding... "Oh noes! You made a mistake here on line 24! Did you mean ';' instead of ':'?" I did but it just keeps glitching and I wanna figure out how to make a game or anything with a click function on my computer.

Well if you're looking to make games like this one then you'll probably want to use Adobe Flash. The downside to Flash, though, is that it's really expensive. I think it's up to several hundred US dollars now.
But for a cheaper and easier alternative, you should look at Stencyl (www.stencyl.com/) . It's great for beginners and there is even a tutorial on the Stencyl website to help you get started!
