ROSE KNOWS WHERE KIP AND HEX LIVE. Maybe she doesn't--but obviously she found out where they were at somehow because on their porch was a Christmas gift. She didn't know either person well enough to know what to get them individually, so it was a bit of a dilemma until she figured she may as well get them something they could share.
Tucked neatly in a basket was a bottle of white wine, a bottle one red wine, and a card that read "Have fun. (; -Rose"

*Awww, Rose, u tho thweet. Except Hex probably frowned and grimaced and complained a little, because he is not fond at all of alcohol and Kip is. Which meant Kip would be drunk and she would want him to drink and ew. But. He supposed a little wine now and then couldn't hurt, AND it was the holidays anyway, so. Special occasion and all that. He would have to thank Rose, if he saw her anytime soon. Or just. Over facebook, that was easy too. Hex is so very lazy.*

Ti quietly made her way around the city, examining and studying it closely. She saw a young man around her age, but decided to not approach him. Rather, she'd use her shy facade to drop hints she'd enjoy talking to him. So she started to glance his way every now and then, with a blush.

Perhaps it was an end table. A shelf. Something. Wherever it was, Hex would find a deep maroon box with gold trim. Now, it was hard to tell if the box had been there for a while, of if Parsnip was simply late to deliver it. Nonetheless, it was there. Attached to the box was a note written with the familiar neat cursive Barton wrote in.
"Happy Birthday, Mister Marr. Use it well."
Short, yes, but the fact that Parsnip had even bothered to get him anything said something. He wasn't one to just hand out gifts to anyone.
Inside the box, Hex would find a neatly packaged .45 Automatic Colt Pistol, along with two extra magazines and a box of Ammo. It was a silver, almost vanilla colored, pistol, with dark brown grips. Guns were nice to have. Parsnip, still believing Kip was pregnant, thought that it would do Hex good to have something extra in his arsenal. Should the time come to defend arises, anyway.-

And indeed, upon finding the gift, Hex was quite skeptical at first, almost assuming it to be some sort of joke. Then again, he thought, he and Parsnip had been getting on relatively well lately. Upon opening the box and finding the pistol inside, he grinned a bit and carefully lifted it out, inspecting it. Fine indeed, he would have to thank the man later. Needless to say, his appreciation for Batron rose quite a few points.
