But as far as work goes - that's always problematic, isn't it? LOL (What can one do? Our fortunes rise and fall. So much is beyond our ability to control. Hang in, Things will work themselves out, one way or another. Whether it is for the best, or not, depends in part on having an optimistic attitude that lets you see opportunity in the midst of the crisis, and gives the courage to seize it.)
Thank you very much for the good word on my progress in art. Yes, learning Photoshop has lead me back to using color, and not just comic book coloring, but to painting. It's a big surprise for me after more than a decade of drawing in black and white with ink! Haha.

Sorry to take so long to reply, but there is a family crisis that takes much time. Soon I will be able to devote full time, again, to my studio, which includes maintaining a constant, active presence here at DA.

Ah. Well, in a way. My mother took ill some weeks ago. Yesterday morning she died. It is not a bad thing, as she was quite old, generally in poor health, yet insistent on living entirely independently. (The thought of her driving her car put chills up my spine!) So, yes, it is right, now. I have yet to organize her domicile and execute her last wishes as declared in her will and arrange her funeral. Still, I may relax a little compared to before. At can at least think about art and do the morning warm-ups, which I plan to resume tomorrow (today just want to bathe, eat and sleep).
