Description
Rosie is a cheery little tank engine who was brought to Europe from America to run on the Longmoor Military Railway. She worked here with Brad for some time before being withdrawn. Later on, thanks to Charles Hatt, she was purchased and restored to help on Thomas' Branch Line. She happily works there with her brother Brad and 'mentor' Thomas.You can read about her in the Sodor Island Forum's ERS Library, in the following books:

I read about her recent moving to a heritage railway.Β I actually found it rather upsetting, and I never read much of the stories that the ERS did with her.

I think this maybe the same Rosie we know & love. Plus if you think about it Rosie never got a proper introduced to the series. She just showed up in an episode & she's been in the show ever since.

I love it too. After we get 3 more stories done, we can do Closure. That story is very moving, especially at the end.

Righto Rachel...oh and I'm reading Od Iron now. it's very good just one thing I would correct is when the signalman's on the phone. I would change the line from Yes he's here to yes she's here. so not there's no confusion. Β but Β it's still good all the same.Β

This version of Rosie is set in the Railway Series universe, with a more realistic colour. She's not the TV Series version.

Yes they did want her to have a more realistic and sensible colour. She doesn't have a number in the TV Series, it was added in the ERS.
