Wait... Wouldn't Luna sleep during the daytime?

I think that's just a common misconception. Luna has been seen multiple times during the day time in a number of episodes and the Equestria Girls movies. While Luna does have domain over the night, and she has been seen as much, if not more so in the night time, you must also remember those times we've seen her at night have mostly been in a dream state of some kind. So who's to say that Luna doesn't sleep herself to enter those dreams?
Luna could very easily be one who is awake during the day time and sleep at night like any other, only using her dreams to enter others and watch over the night more easily.
But what about that time she stood watch at night during the S2 finale?
That was a time of need, as the city was under a threat while a major wedding was being arranged. Things most likely were hoofed a lot differently at that time than they are under normal circumstances.
Sorry to ramble, I really put thought into the things I love.

You forgot one key detail. EG!Luna is a normal human. Normal humans sleep at night.

I know. I was just saying. It would make more sense as her role of a princess to stay awake during the day, but then it would make sense as caretaker of night to sleep during day. Meh. We may never know. And we say in "Do Princesses Dream Of Flying Sheep" That when she does the dream walk thing, she is awake.

We all have our own thoughts of the matter. And we may never know. And that last one, again it was under an unusual circumstance. She was after the nightmare she created. But, then again, who knows?

Poor Luna. She had nightmares and want someone to sleep with. So she goes to her big sister and ask if she could sleep with her. And Celestia said yes. Luna smiled and just got right in the bed and slept next to beloved caring sister. Now that's prove that they both care for one another.
Luna looks cute when she was little. I like it. Awesome Job, 0Bluse!
