Well, Trump happened so some of that still applies... I'm still sceptical as to whether democracy is really the best alternative considering that it stands and falls with the good-heartedness and education of the majority.
And, well... "people" are fucking horrible.
I'm just hoping some Socrates level political and philosophical genius will come along in our time toΒ find a viable alternative because I'm tired of having stupidity, greedΒ and selfishnessΒ rule...

Check out "The ChesterBelloc Mandate". Also, check out "Ranked Choice Runoff Voting", an alternative to out Plurality/Duopoly system that would have kept BOTH Trump and Hillary away from the White House. Trump would have done well in the first round, but that's it. I doubt Hillary would have gotten anywhere at all, which shows why Andrew Jackson instilled the Plurality system AGAINST Washington's express warnings; the Party ALWAYS comes first for the Democrat elites, and always has. The Neocons are the same, but Republicans used to be different. During their first 100 years, men like Rand Paul were the norm. But overall corruption is inevitable for both sides under Plurality. With only two outlets for complex voter values, clogs and stagnation is unavoidable. We need more 'pipes'.
Good, viable alternatives have existed for a long time, but are kept out of our curricula. If an elitist prick can't argue against a better idea, then they move mountains to bury and ignore it.

Indeed he is, and I guess it would be a surprise for him, once he sees irrefutable proof of it!
That is exactly how I'd describe them!!! 
Enorach is one of those people who gets very involved emotionally in many situations, always picking the side his conscience tells him to. He really tries his best to change the world, even if all odds are against him.
Lars on the other hand is more realist, as you said, and doesn't let his emotions blind him likeΒ Enorach sometimes does. At the same time he hates injustice too, and he'd be ready to follow Enorach in any situation he jumps in, at least to watch his back.

What you just describes makes me think they are a very good team also, I mean I can Β imagine that Lars is a good person to save or hold back poor Enorach when he is about to get into something too risky... or then he will be there to join hima nd back him up! Also vice versa ofc. I think Enorach, with his more idealist attitude, will Β also help Lars not to fall into pessimism, I find that realists may easily fall into that, but it could just be my opinion
