Description
Shadi pondering about her life choices, and fearing she might not be as good of a person as she thought. She's not in the best shape either, as you can see from bruises and her still fresh scar.This was just a quick sketch I did for fun, and she looks slightly different because I've experimented a bit on her look.
By the way, I plan to draw a comic with Shadi as the main protagonist, and I already have the story written down. I don't know when I will start, but when the time comes my current comic "Conflicts" will become a lower priority project. It was mainly a test in preparation of Shadi's story, to see if I could draw and write some decent pages, so it fulfilled its purpose anyways (I still hope to upload a page every now and then, though)

Love this. It's simple, but evoking a thoughtful response.
Each time I see it, I think of the second episode of Doctor Who with the 12th (Capaldi's) Doctor. He's sitting on the step to the main console and looking at his companion with a pursed expression. "Clara, tell me..." he says softly. "Am I a good man?" She hesitates for a moment, then finally has to say, "... I don't know." To which he shrugs, his frown deepening in resignation. "No... and neither do I."

That was a good one. Capaldi and Clara were pretty whimsical a lot of the time, but they had some good moment with depth to them as well. I suppose a lot of Doctors showed light as well as darkness. Part of what makes them interesting as characters - kind of like humans in that sense

"Do you think I'm a bad person?" she asked.
"Well that depends," began the strange "human", turning to her. "Do you think I am a bad person, Shadi?"
I'd think he'd turn it around, especially right after the Time-War. Filled with regret and blood and war, he would turn his own darkness into a positive. If she answered "Yes" then he would say, "Then you're no worse than me." If she answered "No," same response. If she answered "I don't know," he would smile that grim, old smile and do that quiet chortle. "Neither do I, nor do I know if you are. Let's find out together."

Oh, I don't know what happened to Shadi, but I just want to give her a hug to cheer her up.

Also ouch, being able to see the cut on her cheek this close up really shows how deep and big it was..Β

Is very interesting explore the psychology of the characters and give them moral conflicts, especially when they have contradictory principles that clash in a moment, I did this in a prequel of a fanfiction and the character was way more interesting to write than the main ones, even I feel bad for not even draw him

Indeed it was! The thing is I was hoping to have WAY more of the story done at this point, but it took me way too long instead. Which is also why I think I'll make Shadi's comic digitally, in order to speed up the process and make it less stressful.
I think I'll still post a new Conflicts page every now and then!
