Hurray for depressing subjects!
In this setting falling in love with someone of another race is quite dangerous, if it's also of the same gender it's very dangerous, and if said love interest is the daughter of a rich and powerful nobleman it's almost a death sentence.
The cat here still doesn't have a name, even if it doesn't matter much. She just wants to forget about the past experiences, and wine and drugs help, even if they cost money. I don't think I have to explain why she's on that bed with some coins near, or what her profession is...
Anyways! I'm very glad by how this drawing turned out, even if I felt bad all time while working on it. Still, I think that the fact many people are suffering like this (or worse even) is worth remembering.

I really like the way this has turned out. As you know, I like the setting of your stories and everything connected to that a lot. You have done a great job on the anatomy here once again and hit the usual great mixture between the cat and human anatomy your anthros normally have, which I like the most. Also great details in the room. This adds a pretty strong and depressing atmosphere to the picture. The character looks really nice, even if I feel sorry for her and her fate with the impossible love and also what she has to do to survive. She seems to be an interesting character and I would love to see more of her in the future.

Love the image, though must admit I thought the coins were some kind of condom wrapper at first glimpse.

It's rather hard to see that she's, well, a she.
If you hadn't said anything I could've easily mistaken the curves of her breasts for just chest muscle outlines.
Now I'm not saying you should start drawing nice, full, round and firm bewbz, but defining them just a tad bit might help.
Otherwise this is a damn good painting, albeit a depressing one.

I know, that is something I always struggle with. The fact that in my mind I imagine them completely flat doesn't help. I'll pay mor attention in the future!

If their anatomy is supposed to be more akin to feral felines (say that out loud. Feels so right), then there would still be a kind of "imprint" in the fur where the nipples should be on their abdomen.
Now, I said imprint in the fur, actual nipples wont be visible unless pregnant, which is usually when the mother pulls the hairs out around those areas.

More or less, the breasts are very small. I pondered quite a bit about the nipples, they should be barely visible, but I decided to avoid drawing them completely to avoid "mature content" and such.

Why avoid it? The existence of nipples is an extremely important part of mammal life, and like we both said, they shouldn't actually be plain-sight visible.
If it requires a mature filter then so be it, I'd say. Its not like you're known for drawing pornography (or in the case of furry characters, "yiff").
The best thing you could do is to simply draw your characters as accurate as how you imagine them.

I know I should, but you know how it is, I guess it's just the stupid fear of drawing stuff too "scandalous" for others. Personally I don't really have issues with it. I'll seriously think about it.
