Last drawing for now, and I have no idea when I'll be posting again, I'm pretty busy right now
Another work for the "Secret Project" with Different world, different cats; as you can see these looks different, like caracals and lynxes, and I also made their eyes different, with "full iris" and round pupils. I think I like these eyes more than the ones I used to draw, I'd like to hear your opinion too. I also experimented with the background and didn't ink the farthest buildings, I think I'll stick with it.
Unfortunately the picture distorted some lines again, especially at the top of the picture
About the character, she's supposed to be one of our protagonists (for now), a little 15 years old girl who lives in the slums, she goes around disguised as a boy and steals everything to survive. She can occasionally get into danger like here, and she'd better run since the penalty for a non-human stealing can range from a hand cut to an execution.
The character was recycled from this old concept , even if I didn't write it he was supposed to be a girl in disguise even back then... ^^

Cats are good sprinters but humans are excellent at long distant running. Although cats are much better climbers then full armored men, so she has a chance to get away. She just shouldn't go for a long distance run or she may overheat.

Alright, you got a caracal (at least I think the differences are tail and fur markings) which is now in quite some trouble for stealing a bag with a content that may be consisting of a few coins. Silver and, which would be highly rare due to the metal's value, gold maybe? I must say, she is succesful in looking like a boy. Due to the lack of a noticable feature, I guess that it is not as difficult for her than for a human however. It might be more or less of an advantage for her to be a beastkin, as she will probably not be easy to find once she is out of sight. At least I would say that those human soldiers don't seem like they could make a difference between them all... or maybe I underestimate them.
Thy dynamics of this scene are quite excellent. Everyone's movement appears natural even up to the easy to neglect toes and the background. Where I can see a lizardman looking kind of puzzled at this scene. A bunch of idiots clad in iron chasing a young girl... you would certainly look at it like that.

Yep, they are based off caracals, even if with some different markings and longer tails.
Normally they wouldn't recognize her easily among other beasts but she has blue eyes, which are extremely rare for her race, so that's a huge problem (and a plot point).

I really like those eyes! It makes them seem more animal-like which in my opinion is preferred XD And the background looks really good like that! The lack of ink way back makes the stuffs in the front toward the viewer seem way closer, giving it depth

That's what I think too, now I have to decide if I should draw ALL my cats with those eyes, not just the new ones... I'm still not entirely sure though.
Well, she has a different backstory and maybe a different name (Arèksim was a fake boy name anyways) but she's basically the same, same look, about same age, and almost same personality (definitely not a warrior...)

Her face is still the absolute best part of this whole piece. It really makes the scene feel frantic and nerve-wracking. Not only are all the other details impressive, but you've managed to make the city's streets look quite busy and hectic, with all the people in the background looking on as the literal cat-burglar rushes away from the guards. The architecture looks awesome once more as well. Keep up the fantastic work, mate! I'm eating this stuff up like peach pie.

Same here. The amount of mangas I actually had some enjoyment in reading/seeing can be counted on a single hand.
The main problem is is that they overdo too many things.
I've been reading a crap ton franco-belgian stuff though, starting with Tintin and Astrix and Obelix when I was really small.
Now I read things like Travis, Sillage, Kookaburra Universe and Lanfuest.

Per la lineart uso un pennello, Winsor & Newton N°1, e "Black Indian Ink" sempre della stessa marca ^^ Mi trovo meglio che con qualsiasi penna o pennarello abbia provato finora.
Prima la lineart e poi coloro, senza contorni mi trovo malissimo. ^^' Stavolta ho fatto un'eccezione solo per lo sfondo più lontano
