Last drawing for now, and I have no idea when I'll be posting again, I'm pretty busy right now
Another work for the "Secret Project" with Different world, different cats; as you can see these looks different, like caracals and lynxes, and I also made their eyes different, with "full iris" and round pupils. I think I like these eyes more than the ones I used to draw, I'd like to hear your opinion too. I also experimented with the background and didn't ink the farthest buildings, I think I'll stick with it.
Unfortunately the picture distorted some lines again, especially at the top of the picture
About the character, she's supposed to be one of our protagonists (for now), a little 15 years old girl who lives in the slums, she goes around disguised as a boy and steals everything to survive. She can occasionally get into danger like here, and she'd better run since the penalty for a non-human stealing can range from a hand cut to an execution.
The character was recycled from this old concept , even if I didn't write it he was supposed to be a girl in disguise even back then... ^^

Dynamic poses are always tricky to get and you made it look very very good
My only issue is that the character's neck seems a bit too big making the head look like too small (I better hide XD ) .

I'm not really an anthro person but I love the style! I instantly liked the character. That's something, as I usually don't like art involving anthros.
I like the clean lines, it's easy for the eye even while there are so many details. And the coloring is very nice, too!

Cats are nimble, silent, agile, stealthy, sneaky, precise, all of which fall in the Thief archetype. Just that.

Got to think what archetypes other animals would fill.
Even before you define the specifics, you have to go through the general details. Are the base races hunters or foragers? Solitary (eagles) or gregarious (vamp bats)? Wanderers (horses) or settlers (beavers)?
Many things can be considered, and the cat is well known (and stigmatized) for such traits.
All of that not considering things we can't see, like how foxes use geomagnetic readings to pounce prey hidden in snow , birds have magnetsense for flying, some snakes have heat vision (and an according poor taste for clothing colors) and how cats tend to stay in foci of negative energies.
Regarding the snakes with infrared vision, if one were to use them as a race that built things, it'd be senseful if they used materials with different thermal readings, like interweaving stone and wood not only for building, but also for arts.
And yes, snakes can be remade into limbed beings since some still have the bones related to them.
