Description My second pencil work, made the same day of  An apple a day.... ...pencils are much harder than I thought! I honestly have no idea how many of you manage to draw entire backgrounds like that!

Anyways, I drew my character Enorach with different equipment and slightly different face, again just for fun   It's been a while I wanted to draw a huge flamberge sword ^^

Any suggestion is more than welcome, don't be afraid of hurting my feelings!   *note: these works are about one month old*

You sure that's Enorach, 'cause that looks like a completely different Anthro Knight...? Good drawing, regardless.

This was made in 2014, Enorach changed a lot since then!   Thanks! ^^

Okay, that's fair enough. Though, I will say this version of him looks like he could be his own different character.

You're welcome!

Yep. My main medium is the one that just happens to conflict with my nature. But the details and colors you can get are worth it.

Yup, it's a sword of the same kind, a flame-bladed two handed sword   The one in your picture has two protection rings on the hilt though ^^

Heheh By this I reminded me very colorful and one of my favorite characters (right next to Mr. Wolodyjwski - a little Knight) character of Henryk Sienkiewicz's book and the film of the same title "With fire and sword" - Longinus Podbipieta, coat hood broke . Namely, he was famus of this and it was nobleman and the Warrior very strong and tough, and religious, Honorary, friendly . And he had fought and such a huge two hand sword (similar to the ones on your graphics and pictures of what you sent me), acquired by the ancestors of the great and famous battle of Grunwald (15. VII. 1410. - King Wladyslaw Jagiello defeated The Teutonic Knights ).

Longinus being a man of honor and he gave up his religious vows to the Our Lady Maria, with till you fight do not cut off at once three enemy head, will be living in your body clean/he did not select a bodily pleasure (that is, without a woman ... ) . Well, in the end, after many adventures with the rest of the main heroes, during the battle of Zbaraz, he managed to cut down three Turkish head at one time - as he promised, so he did it . But joy lasted not long... .. A few days later reported to volunteer to go to the King to ask for help to come with relief. He managed to pass through rogue Turkish, but the camp under forest was attacked by enemy Tatars. To defend bravely but was recaptured from lukow...... To die with the Lortto litany of our Lady Maria on their mouth......

(Here you have his whole stories cut from this movie  www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdeXHL… )

Great to hear! Was your character some kind of warrior cat?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

KimericalArtworks In reply to 0laffson [2015-03-21 12:07:32 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, he was (And keeps being) a wanderer and street rat, and with the time and more roleplaying he has got different skills in different backgrounds: Dragon rider, mage apprentice, tomb raider, thief, guild mercenary... So many adventures on his back xD

Btw, I just wondered, do you do any kind of comissions or exchanges?

0laffson In reply to KimericalArtworks [2015-03-24 03:31:51 +0000 UTC]

It seems he became pretty tough and badass at the end!

Unfortunately no, I barely have time for my own works     maybe one day in the far, faaar future... ^^

KimericalArtworks In reply to 0laffson [2015-03-24 05:57:11 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, but I have never really liked those overpowered characters, and people tend to think that when in fact is just that he simply grew. I think its been five years, and he even became my sona, and after all he keeps being the same naive guy that barely knew how to talk, in a world not of his own xD But I like the fact of having a character with that much weigh on his back, and the scars on yours tell me he has his good story behind as well.

And thats a pity, but a good decision, one or my errors was to try sell my still unexisting skills, and ended up being quite frustrating nwn""

I totally agree, overpowered characters are quite boring... too "perfect" in my opinion XD
That's why the cat here is a good fighter but still he's not "the best of the world" or something like that ^^  And it took him some time to get there too....

I don´t know the english word for it and google says it´s called 'guard', but that´s the wrong word for it

Anyway cool drawing ^w^

Thank you!

yikes, I don't know the english name either. D:  I'm no expert at all, but while the "guard" (I call it like that because it's easier) is defenitely too long for a one-handed weapon, I think it could (almost) fit for a two-handed sword. I saw a few of them in museums and some had a very large "guard".

I couldn't find any better immage but look at some of these 2.bp.blogspot.com/-P1N_ltC2cTY… upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia…

I don't know if those were just exceptions though ^^ Thank you again!

Oh okay sorry
well I saw many claymores in videogames, but I guess I´m wrong this time
In the games 'Gothic' and 'Fable' the "guard´s" are smaller ^^
It´s also really hard to imagine that the old knights could hold and also use those big and heavy weapons
I visited an roman exhibition once and they said that a normal gladias weights already 5kg (11lbs)

and thank you for your examples ^w^

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

0laffson In reply to Anthrotastic [2014-11-10 10:23:18 +0000 UTC]

no need to be sorry at all!   It seems a gladius weighted like a two handed sword then, their weight never exceeded 5 kg's either ^^

Oh my! Are you a Gothic fan too??   Those are the best games I've ever played!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Anthrotastic In reply to 0laffson [2014-11-13 12:13:21 +0000 UTC]

Wow those that mean I can hold a great sword or two handed sword too?

Yeah gothic all the way
Yes this was one of the best roleplaygames evaaa!
After I finished part 1 and 2 it became very bad at part 3.
Probably because it was from a different company hmmm
Well I continued with fable, oblivion, risen and currently now I'm fighting as khajiit in the awesome world of skyrim =^w^=
