My second pencil work, made the same day of An apple a day.... ...pencils are much harder than I thought! I honestly have no idea how many of you manage to draw entire backgrounds like that!Anyways, I drew my character Enorach with different equipment and slightly different face, again just for fun
It's been a while I wanted to draw a huge flamberge sword ^^Any suggestion is more than welcome, don't be afraid of hurting my feelings! *note: these works are about one month old*

It may take a couple of days, but sure. Also, the character I will draw, a dracon, can have a digitgrade or plantigrade stance (they can assume either at will, but they normally go plantigrade), but since this model is digitgrade, I may just use that.

(I love that you do somewhat realistic yet cartoon-ish and simple style) I truly admire this, adding more clear line art for traditional pieces like this is perfect for small details and makes the picture so much clearer. *cough*ComparesToMyOwnWorkWithAlmostNoLineart*cough* xD Also did I mention your shading is beautiful? Loving the metallic armor parts! and also that beautiful sword <3 just.. so much detail.. *stares*... I notice I myself, that I tend to rush my coloring process sometimes, when I get impatient with a lot of detail, but here I can just see you've been thorough and accurate with coloring throughout the whole work - @

I like the line art because, as you said, it makes details clearer but I think your art is freaking awesome! Honestly, if I had to draw an entire page in pencil I'd rush badly... it took ages to color this one and it was just a smal figure D: I have no idea how you can do it.

It looks patiently drawn because when I start to get bored or I'm in a hurry I stop. I honestly have no idea what would I do if I had a schedule to keep, like in a comic or some commission :-/

I'm not sure what advice I can give. I think the coloring is awesome. What I typically do is I smudge the layer of pencil with a tissue. It helps with blending and getting rid of the "swish" marks. Maybe it can help deal with the white marks.

I love two handed swords, and flamberges are my favourite. They look so vicious!
