I'm so neurotic, for me, B stands for... "Bah"? Yet, schizophrenically enough, it always annoys me that a C is considered awful. Isn't it supposed to be "average"? Can't you be average any more?

My brother used to get grades that appeared as "S" and something else. I think it means "satisfactory". I wonder why they graded things that way.

Genius. Each of those words totally is what I am thinking whenever I see those grades. Some people are like "C's aren't that bad"...My foot they aren't! It sucks to get one. lol
But I guess if you think you did worse, a C is a pleasant surprise.

This is so much better then really grading, A is Above Average but we all need to get A's that makes no sense to me. When I teach this is the system I am going to use thank you.

The amercans have olny 5 grades? Isn't there a "e" or sumthing betwen "d" and "f"?

yeah, escaguin is mostly right. although in my high school it depended on the teacher. some gave letter grades while most the rest gave percentage grades, but in the end our report cards were still letter grades.

Many American schools have A+ A A- B+ B B- C+ C C- D and F. I don't believe many have D+ D- or any grade of E.

Damm the unfairnes! We got olny 7 passing grades (4-10), and 3 whole failing grades(1-3). No, actualy we have 4 failing grades, the teacher can give you a 0 if you have no work done at all!
