Wow. Something about this image is really deep, whether intended or not. The way his hair is covering his face and his eyes are not visible... like there is a sense of regret or failure to Link. Very cool! Can't wait for my figs to arrive.

Thanks! His hair covering up his eyes was intended, but I didn't really have a reason for it. Just thought it'd look cool.

Neat. How's it stack up against the previous Link Figma?

Smaller by a little over an inch, but pretty much the same when it comes to range of articulation. One thing you can't do with this Figma like SS Link is that you can't put the sword and shield on his back. Theres also no sheath for the sword to do that anyways.

That's odd that the sword and shield can't fit on his back, or have a sheath. Then again, they seem to cheap out a bit on the Link figures, considering Skyward Sword had none of his weapons as accessories, just his sword and shield(though at least it had a sheath), and while I heard the ALBW one had accessories for it, that was only if you bought the rather more expensive deluxe version, and I wouldn't be surprised if they did the same with the Twilight Princess figures I heard were announced recently. I had thought about ordering through a catalogue at my local comic shop, but in the end I decided I needed to save my money more at the time, so it's nice to know how it turned out.

The sheath that came with SS Link has a peg for it to attach onto the extra peg hole on Link's back. The only peg hole ALBW Link has is for the stand. Anyways, I don't think you ever see ALBW/LTTP Link with his sword and shield on his back in the game. Also, SS Link came with an extra hairpiece and the slash effect.
I passed on the DX version with all the accessories. I had no interest in those items anyways. Link with his Master Sword and Hylian shield is how I'll always display him.... unless they start including different swords and shields, which would be cool.

Just pulled out my copy of ALBW, it's small and a bit hard to see thanks to the top down view, but at the right angles you can see the blue of the sheath on Links back, and in certain buildings such as his home Link doesn't have his sword out so it must be in it. Can't really tell if the shield is there or not though.
Yeah, though I wasn't really a fan of that effect part, I'd much rather there have been an item or weapon part instead. Bit surprised there's only one hair piece since SS Link had an alternate.
Yeah, alternate swords and shields would have been awesome, I was pretty bummed when I found out SS Link didn't have the basic Goddess Sword, I was really wanting that one, I think I would have even preferred it over the Master Sword. And I imagine a lot of people who got the ALBW Link would have liked the golden version of the Master Sword, even if it doesn't look like the artwork of the Golden Blade from ALTP. Speaking of alternate swords and shields though, if you like Nendoroid figures, I heard the WW Zelda one that's coming out will have the Master Sword and Mirror Shield for the WW Link that's already out.
