Is there anyway I would be able to use this for my own free game project? This is truly amazing.

Hey there KarelianWolf,
Sorry, I don't feel comfortable giving this model away. I might make it available for sale in a few months with some more skeleton animals though. Thanks for looking : )

This is very cool, any chance you could do a zombie displacer beast? I'm looking for one to animate and i'd give you the finalized animation and full credit for the model!

I have one question...How you did the render pose? Thx!

I rendered this is Marmoset, which is a really convenient little game engine that people use to display and take screenshots of models. As for the pose he is in, I rigged him. Rigging takes a while, but it offers so much posing flexibility! If you look in my gallery, I have a little tutorial as well

Thank you very much for this!I try to understand this render technique.I use 3d point shader but I don't get this kind of renders.

This is rendered in real-time in UDK, a game engine.

Where the main is, Is that just the normal map that is making the fur pop out like that?

eSculpt nailed it. I do have NRM on the mane to distinguish the individual clumps, but there is also geometry there for a nice silhouette. An example is here!: [link]

Ah, I see it now! I thought it was just a flat but now I see it isn't. Thanks for the fast response!

normal maps only affect lighting, not silhouette or real shape so he did that with real geometry i'm sure. to an extent some of the detail in the fur is probably normal map stuff, but the stuff that pops out is geo
