I so want a lil model turret 0w0
The poster looks good on the wall, really made it look teared, and the post-it notes with the icons on are a nice touch

thanks i'll be making a large version this weekend - will take 12+ hours to fully render at 1920x1080 . you have my permission to use this current smaller version (at 642x358) to promote your work if you wish
there are 3D printing servies that can make real plastic models from 3D model files . their machines cut plastic blocks based on the information from the designs . usually they do it in one color and you have to paint it - which is better because then you have the control of the details . moving pieces are not easy to create but they can be done with extra work . i think that over time moving pieces would wear out if you tried that .. anyhoo i just wanted to let you know that it is possible to have made any 3D model . also to noteL ~Rubna has made the most accurate 3D models of Portal items that i've seen

beautiful How long have you been working with Cinema 4D for? I have only been using Maya for a couple of months and just started texture mapping... you're obviously experienced in it.

seriously i threw this together so fast it's kinda sad .. so many little errors that i normally wouldn't post um i started playing with 3D text about a week or two before i joined this site and that was 5 months ago . all i wanted to do was make animated text for the end of a youtube video ... and kept playing with it after that . i haven't tried Maya and don't know much about it besides that i think i heard that you can more easily do organic shapes with Maya . there's so much to learn about 3D - modeling materials lights rendering
now that i'm more comfortable with C4D i wouldn't want to try to change . lol
