i reason that he must have a spark as well . his technological properties are very similar to other transformers and he was also created by the Quintessons . his eye units are compatible with and happen to be the exact same size as Metroplex and Trypticon . and also Trypticon's Transformation Cog was installed into Unicron in a season 3 episode also in which Unicron was going to be attached to Cybertron itself . so yeah i think that Unicron is basically the same thing as any other transformer except that he is very large . i think he would have a spark

Also, Unicron's "Spark" is not at all like the normal Spark of a Transformer. A Cybertronian's Spark is a fragment of the Spark of Primus, the Allspark. Unicron's Spark is the antithesis to the Allspark. The polar opposite. As revealed in Exodus, emanations of Primus' power created Energon, the lifeblood of Cybertronians, The essence of Unicron is Dark Energon. And, just as the Matrix is a talisman of Primus' power, and deadly to Unicron, so too is the Dead Matrix a talisman of Unicron's power, and deadly to Primus.

Unicron was not created by the Quintessons. He's a god, like Primus, Both were created at the beginning of time by a being known as "The One" as heralds to explore and seed the multiverse with life. Unicron became a force of destruction and chaos seeking to wipe out creation, Primus sought to stop him and created the Original Thirteen Transformers. [link] [link] The Quints did not create him, nor did they actually create the Transformers, they only enslaved them. [link]

thank you for the correction about the origin of Unicron . it still is rather interesting that several core components can be used easily between him and other Transformers . within the G1 television series and the first cartoon movie , the Quintessons are stated to have created the Transformers . even though that is not true in other media forms [link] and from the transformers.wikia [link] :

Cartoon continuity \ The Transformers cartoon
"In ages long past, a cold and emotionless race of aliens called the Quintessons created two lines of sentient robots on a planet-sized factory known as Cybertron. One was a line of robots designed for domestic duties and labor (known as Autobots), and the other was a line designed for military use, (known as Decepticons)."

YEah, that was retconned by Hasbro years ago. Primus is the one true creator of the Transformers. That two-page spread I linked to is an excerpt from Wreckers #3 by 3H Productions (which, as with Beast Wars is set in the cartoon continuity), and was written specifically to reconcile the Primus and Quintesson origins. Exodus also talks about the Quintesson invasion.

Basically, the Quints came to Cybertron searching for Primus' hiding place for Unicron. But, instead of returning to their master and reporting Primus' location, they invaded, enslaved the population, and attempted to reprocess them, as well as take control of Primus himself for their own purposes. After a number of spectacular failures, they eventually succeeded with the placement of a shell program, called "Oracle", on Vector Sigma, the physical embodiment of Primus. This allowed them to cut off Primus' will from his children, at least for a time. Ultimately though, the Cybertronians rose up and overthrew their oppressors, driving the Quints from Cybertron.

okay so Vector Sigma (which is the physical form of Primus) made the first Transformer robots . but when the Quints took over Cybertron they continued manufacturing Transformers and experimenting on them and inventing more designs and new technologies . so they are not the creators of the original models but they mass produced them and further refined these robots

all of the Deceptions and Autobots that were created on Cybertron from Vector Sigma must all have Sparks that came from Primus , right ?

Pretty much. However, they weren't created simply as "robots", but fully living organisms made up of self-replicating nanomachine cells containing a DNA analog (commonly known as CNA). They typically aren't "manufactured" in the traditional sense, but rather, many are born as "protoforms" in the Well of All Sparks. There is also evidence that males and females can mate and produce offspring. There are a number of examples of Transformers marrying and having children.

Primus took the form of Cyberton near the beginning of time, he created the first Thirteen Primes from his very body [link] , among whom include Prima, The Liege Maximo, Alpha Trion, Megatronus Prime (later known as The Fallen), Vector Prime, Nexus Prime, and a currently unnamed female Prime (possibly Beta). Other potential members include Logos Prime (aka Galaxy Force Soundblaster) and The Last Autobot. The Original Thirteen were created to "crew" Primus' physical form, Cybertron, in the battles against Unicron, as well as stewards of various aspects of reality. Some time after the betrayal by The Fallen, and his banishment with Unicron, the rest of the Thirteen were scattered. The full details of these events are going to be revealed in future stories planned by Hasbro. The descendants of the Thirteen would spread across the planet Cybertron. They were eventually enslaved by the Quints. The quints didn't really "refine" them at all. They simply used Primus' own capabilitiesβ€”after finally taking control of Vector Sigma with the Oracleβ€”to "produce" them and sell them as "products".

Vector Sigma is essentially the nerve center of Cybertron that controls everything else. It's actually a multiversal network of nodes that connect all of the various Cybertrons throughout the multiverse to Primus. [link]

you keep blowing my mind with crazy new levels of details . it would be so cool to hang out with you for a day and ask you a million questions about this stuff . i don't know how to type "thank you" and make it convey how much it actually means so i made this [link] for you thank you !

I read a lot and do a lot of research. Remember, Vector Sigma only brought Transformers to life in the original cartoon. This is something that has not been established in other continuities, but rather attributed to other artifacts such as the Matrix and the physical AllSpark (as opposed to the realm which is Primus' Spark) located in the Well of All Sparks. Really kick butt duplication! What makes it more interesting is the texture and details on the structure and the names of the sparks though I think Trypticon's spark would be 10x bigger than the normal spark of a transformer haha. Well done Onica!

are sparks relative in size ?

No I wouldn't say so because they didn't exist in the G1 cartoon but I was just kidding around though it would be interesting since given Trypticon is a titan transformer.
