Description
I've always wanted to do my own Influence Map since so long... So here's mineI tried to respect the sizes of the influence squares as adviced though.
1. Crash Bandicoot (Naughty Dogs era
Because I've grown up with this little guy since I'm 7, the CB universe had a huge impact on me, whether by its "tex avery/looney toonesque" atmosphere, or simply by its characters' charisma
2. Parov Stelar Band (and ElectroSwing in general)
Electro Swing is my all time musical drug
3. Public transports (bus, trains, metro, RER etc...)
I'm a day-dreamer, and the best place for me to escape in my world is in public transports, and with music in my ears, I'm not here anymore XD. It also enable me to make the travel faster and to forget about the weird/obnoxious peoples and the nasty environment around me.
4. Playstation 1 era
My sweet childhood has been cradled by all these plateform games and their respective heroes
... Playing video games didn't prevent me from being the valedictorian of my business school, though...
5. London(and its dwellers!)
The whole city is a wonderful source of inspiration: the diversity of its neighborhoods, the way people are dressing, its lovely culture, and the Londoner themselfs
6. Shibuya
For the same reasons I quoted above for London, I particularly love this specific neighborhood of Tokyo
7. MÄR, aka "Marchen Awaken Romance" (Nobuyuki Anzai)
My all time favourite manga
There are a lot of references from fairy tales/legends from all around the world (about some characters and weapons), and the manga itself is given rhythm by many awesome fights between good guys and evil wrongdoers.
I bear this manga in my heart
8.Dark-swordfish
It goes without saying that this artist inspires me a lot, as he is the writer of the CBNS fanfic. As his story inspires me, my pictures inspire him aswell X).
9. My Boss My Hero (and Japanese Dramas in general)
I can understand that it's not the cup of tea of many people, but I just love funny japanese dramas for their overdone reactions, far-fetched situations and cheesy issues. MBMH is, among many others, my all time favourite drama. It deals with the heir to a notorious Yakuza clan, which has to come back to highschool because of his huge gaps in general knowledge. In order to get his diploma (and then become the next leader of his Yakuza clan), he has to hide his true identity and to contain his short-tempered nature at all cost. The characters are in general endearing, by the values they carry during all the story (such as friendship, effort, dedication etc ...)
10. The Emperor's New Groove
I'm not really a Disney-person (as I mainly grew up with Don Bluth's animation cartoons
It may have been a "commercial failure", but this movie is #1 in my heart for ever X)
11. The 90's
The 90's. Its cartoons, its movies, its music, its fashion, its toys, its recess games ... One of the most awesome period of my life for sure XD. I still use a lot of 90's references when I draw
12. Family/Friends/Relationships
Because all the people who surrender me in my everyday life are also a source of inspiration. A thought, an exchange, a dialogue, an action, a behaviour ... all these little stuffs that indeed inspire me and that I put in some of my drawings X).
13. Kid Paddle (Midam)
A belgian "bande dessinée"/comicbook, which gathers a lot of short-gags about a little gamer guy and his posse of friends. I just love its humour (visual gags, funny situations or again far-fetched explainations about a random subject etc ...). The way I draw expressions, stances and hands is directly inspired from this comic actually

I like 1-4-11. Above 11, since it was the first console I played
The first game was Bubsy 3D, was the worst minutes of my life But I recovered that lost time with Crash

I like many of them you've mentioned!
- 1, 2, 3, 4, 11, and of course 12.
I really want to see Shibuya (generally Tokyo) some day - I imagine that you could recommend that place.

PS1 and Crash are awesome and they should never be forgotten. I live for a day when PS1 era will receive a proper reincarnation along with new Crash game with ND Style.
90's were the best I agree, and The Emperor's New Groove is the best Disney movie for me. Kuzco is just awesome character. Too bad Emperor's New School ruined everything.
