I did send a message to the help desk asking why this image was moved. And I do think it was moved in error. However, I'm on dA primarily to improve my art skills, not to deliver a political message, and I don't want to stir up needless disagreement and resentment by making a major battle over this.

The price we pay for being smarter than a lot of other people is that we are smarter than a lot of other people.
We just have to deal with it as patiently as we can.
And we need to point out and correct errors whenever they are significant enough to cause harm to someone. Errors in the news that misinform voters about major foreign policy matters fall into that category.

What bothers me is that, if people are going to vote, they need to have better information than this. Media companies are not exactly hiring the best informed people for news. In fact, they hire very few people for news gathering; staffs have been shrinking for a long time. When they do hire people, they pick those who look good, sound good, fit the mold, and do what they're told.
