Description
Created and rendered in JWildfire 3.10.August 21st is fast approaching and I AM READY! Just got a new set of 10x50 binoculars with solar filters. I just wish I could afford the gas to drive two or three hundred miles north (and back) to actually BE in the path of totality. As it stands, most of the solar disc will be covered from my point of view, and this will be THE best eclipse of my entire life!

Did you ever make it to see totality? What about the Solar eclipse of August 12, 2045? It's path is farther south. Great render by the way.

Sadly, I completely missed the great American Eclipse. Our skies were totally overcast that day. You can't imagine my anger and disappointment!
If I'm still around in 2045, I will certainly give it another try!

Very nice eclipse effect. I wonder how you did that in JWildfire.

The image came up in a random batch. I only had to run a few mutations to get it right.

You are a big fan of eclipses and this came up before the bing one? You were quite lucky with the random batch!
