Description
When we watch the Hunger Games, we're treated to the towering elegance of Donald Sutherland and his luxuriant mane. For shits and giggles, I decided to try and push that aside and draw a President Snow according to Collins' description. Lo and behold, we have Mr. Burns with hair plugs and his overbite fixed! That's what I imagined anyway. He's actually not half-bad. Not as resplendently sexy as Mr. Sutherland, but few are.The Hunger Games (c) Suzanne Collins

While Donald Sutherland really owns the role of President Snow (can't see anyone else playing him), if they wanted to go with a more book-like version, I could see Jackie Earle Haley playing him.

"I'd like to think Snow had himself one really good laugh... Right until the mob got to him."

I wonder if Donald had relatives that were in WW2, like a dad or uncle or brother

Would not surprise me Suzanne Collins based Snow on him.

The original description is so disappointing compared to the silver fox that is Sutherland. Nevertheless, both are drawn great!

I agree. He has a Mr. Burns-like appeal, but it pales next to Donny.
Thank you!

I have to agree he's weirdly attractive. Then again, I had a crush on Mr. Burns a few years ago and Snow's book description reminds me of him. These evil old farts MY GOD.

They both are true looking gentlemen and certainly fashionable, but I agree with you. Sutherland is clearly the better looking one
