Feel free to leave criticism. I tried really hard with this to make it really stand out, and in the end I think it turned out great.. with the exception of how the hair looks, there's nothing I would change about it.Related content

Yeah, I see what you mean. Back then I didn't really know how to do that with hair too well, still don't haha. I've actually not been doing art the past year though, dead hobby at this point I guess. Thanks.

Heh, I've already been drawing scenes of her like this in random situations, since I can't think of anything else to draw and portraits seem rather boring right now. It'd be cool to see if there was a fanfic based on something I drew, though. To know that I've inspired someone else to do something, regardless of whatever it is and the length of it if it is a story.

I'm thinking about having something like this in my story, though only for a scene or two. Unfortunately, knowing myself, I might never get to this scene, or even post the first chapter.

Is the blindfold meant to be sliiightly translucent? I swear I can still see Twi's eye behind it. Or is that just some very coincidental lighting?

Very coincidental. At the moment, I cannot draw eyes too well. At least not when the whole color scheme is monochromatic. It gets rather tricky and doesn't look right in the end. Maybe I should try painting the eyes on a different layer, so if I make mistakes I can always try again without ruining the whole piece. Glad you like it, though.

The Blind Swordsman is basically what it is, a Blind Swordsman that roamed around back in the Emperor era in Asia, being Blind and a Swordsman at the same time, killing enemies using the other four senses while being awesome

Heh, nah. It's fine. I mean, if you really want to, go ahead. Don't really know what the movie would be about. xD
Nah, its actually not. It was inspired by something, but the only thing that came from that source of inspiration was the blindfold. I really wanted to do something like that, so I did. This isn't exactly the first thing I had in mind, as that would be more difficult I think. Not sure how I'd pull it off, so I decided I'd just do something like this as it doesn't call for what my first idea involved. In the end, they aren't really that different at all. Maybe different angles of the face, as the first one was a face-forward view instead of this side-view angle, which I think looks better.

Thanks! I was just trying out a coloring technique I thought of while watching another artist paint, and although it didn't exactly turn out how I thought it would, it was still something that I thought I could use and refine.

Thanks, glad you think so! I hope to do more paintings like this. Although this one isn't entirely monochromatic, since there are pinks and purples, I originally planned for it to be but I didn't know if it would resemble Twilight strongly enough. Still turned out nicely, though.

I think the light traces of colors add to the picture significantly - they give it a rather eerie effect.
