My favorite part of the Winter season is watching all of the sweet little birds eating the feed I give them, all the while they look like this. Puffed and round to keep warm, so sweet! The Cardinals are priceless when they're all rounded and chubby looking!

What an oddly shaped bird! What is it and what countries is it found? A flock of these little guys must look like someone threw a handful of cotton balls in the air! ; )

it's a robin, i think he enlarged his feathers for the cold temperature...

Really! Robins here in Canada look quite different. The coloration is a lighter orange tone covering the full breast and belly with a brown back and darker brown head. They fly south for the winter so we rarely see them in snow scenes except for the occasional spring snowfall.
