Description
Dream place in Alaska, looking very much like the coastal areas in the Southeast (of Alaska) or Kodiak island where I lived for awhile. Abundant wildlife, lush vegetation, near zero population, and clear waters.....make for some of the most gorgeous scenery anywhere in the world. If I could be anywhere, I would be "here", in that little A-Frame, high on the hill!! I have explored a lot of the wilds of Alaska, where I have lived for 39 years.

Thank you so very much! This one might be MY favorite! I look at it now and see things I would like to do differently, but it gives me a such a feeling of serene calm the way it is. Many, many hours in this one and over a year to complete.

This is beautiful, but is it supposed to look like the waterfall spouts from the top of that tree? Maybe it's just me.

Thanks so much! Don't know if it's just you or not! But.....the waterfall is spilling out over and through the trees.....as happens here in Alaska with heavy glacier melt.....or rainfall!

Near zero population....sounds like my kind of place. New Hampshire is sooooo infiltrated with city folk now. I miss the way NH was when I was a kid.

Sounds like the way that...... I miss how Alaska was when I first got here in 1963! Yes.....this is my dream place.......took me over 8 months to complete this Bryce image, so I happy you like it - and it is the reason I responded to your comment - it's also one of my favorite - of my images.

Well.......I have it.....installed!! It's just been too hot to think and try to work with a new program! My focus factor right now is ZERO!!! It's supposed to cool down some by the end of this week, so hope to start dictating some of the poetry that I've had people bug me to put in a book! (I'ts all hand-written) Thanks for asking!
