Finally! I have spent way too many hours on this
But it was great fun ^^ Most of that time was spent trying to figure out a background... Initially it was supposed to be a copy of what I saw in the TFP episode, but that wasn't working for cookies >.< So The background is something I'm not overly happy with...

For the competition you have to recreate a scene from TFP using only G1 characters from special sub-groups.
So, the scene I am recreating is from the TFP episode 'Chain of Command' and it's where Bulkhead, Ultra Magnus and Wheeljack are fighting Predaking. Here is the part (watch from 3 minutes 10 seconds): www.youtube.com/watch?v=mwN8Mr…
My recreation shows the following characters and why:
Grimlock playing Predaking.
Because both of them have beast alt-modes and have both displayed aspects of multiple personalities. Predaking who came across as not-so-smart to begin with has suddenly gained a great deal of intelligence, similar to the episode in G1 'Grimlocks new brain' Not familiar? Do your research
Onslaught playing Ultra Magnus.
Onslaught is the leader of the subgroup that also contains Brawl and Blast Off, so it seemed fitting that he would be leading the same team here similar to how Ultra Magnus was leading Bulkhead and Wheeljack.
Brawl playing Wheeljack. Other than being part of the same sub-group as Onslaught, Brawl and Wheeljack are both rather 'trigger happy' and suited to the battlefield.
Blast Off playing Bulkhead.
After doing some research into Blast Off's personality (thanks to TFWiki) I found out that he actually reminds me a lot of how I picture TFP Bulkhead in the earlier days of the war. All the missions he goes on and how he enjoyes his little escapades (I especially enjoyed his journey to find the 'death-crystals' that was a fun read although I didn't watch the episode sadly :'D)

For the competition, *The-Prime-Avenger not only asked us to recreate a scene but also draw it in our own perspective, so instead of doing a comic made up of all the main scenes, I fitted all the characters into one picture, this was difficult >.< We were also asked to add our own flair to the characters, so thats why Grimlock is a mix of G1 and FOC :'D I also added the odd bit of personalisation to the other three where I could, but it was difficult as they weren't the main point of focus when I did the colouring >.<

I'm actually very proud at how this turned out :3 One of my best pieces so far I think... Or maybe I'm just blinded by the days I have spent on it XD
