well not really, otherwise I would have said it.... the of the ages is implied. It would seem that very few understand the intricicies of esoterrorism and I would tend to think that would be exactly the point. woo
... ever hear of Chuck Close?

I don't mean to be rude... but here are some helpful hints:
Your lack of correct spelling is causing some confusion, esoterrorism?? Is that supposed to be esotericism? Or are you attempting some sort of play on words? If so I do not understand the context.
And I believe it is "oh ye of little faith" not "oh ye olde of little faith" unless you are quoting some obscure reference. If so, I do not understand the significance.
Never heard of Chuck Close. But I did do a search and found some of his work. I presume you are a fan of his?
As for the original reason why you messaged me, that artist is very skilled, and I was somewhat skeptical that is all. I believe that he/she did draw the pictures though.

hee hee, i dont take offense in the least. I am very light hearted when it comes to discussing these things. ... so to clear things up:
yes "esoterrorism" is a play on words. Its a neologism born of esoteric and terrorism. The whole idea is to present people with obsure references in an attempt to confuse them and eventually get people to think. ha so it looks like I've succeeded! yes it is "oh ye of little faith" but there are these friends of mine that like to use the term "ye olde" for some reason..... so I was making a really obscure inside joke.
The reason I mentioned Chuck Close ws that he does a lot of photorealistic work. Some people don't realize that human rendering can be done even more accurately than a camera. Not my favorite artist but he does some amazing work. As of late he damaged his wrists in a car accident and can only paint circle type shapes. Still, he does these pixilated paintings that just look like a bunch of pink, green, and blue shapes, but when you stand back about 20ft they look exactly like a photograph.
As for skepticism, you should be, there are too many fakers out there... but we all just tend to right what we think

My comment on the picture more of an incredulous "please prove me wrong" type remark.
I was stunned to see such realism, therefore I left a comment that was akin to "pinch me I am dreaming"

ah no doubt it is funny how different we can view a typed message, as your avatar leaves me with the impression that you are the skeptical one
Anyway, I believe this is enough banter for a rather small comment... although interestingly enough this sort of thing seems to go on in all our heads when making those little damn things tic...quite good to dispell the confusion though.... I bid you adieu

Once again I am awestruck by your work. Your art could easily be mistaken by a photograph, and it's definitely some of the best in deviantart.

PHUUUUUUCK! I can't beLIEVE the amount of realism you're squeezing out here! I have some deviations where I attempt photorealism in photoshop... but that is so much easier than doing it with a pencil and paper. You have a lot of my respect and all I can say is you have much much talent. In fact, I'm going to +fav this... and I don't toss those around like a lot of ppl do here. Stellar work.
