Graphite (pencil) drawing.I donβt usually draw animals, just a little to sentimental for me, but about five years ago I drew my cat Rocky as my wife was holding him, you can just make out her sweater. The old guy (Rocky) just passed away, rest his wolly soul.

Can I ask how you do the little white flecks in the fur? Do you leave them white, or do you go back in with an eraser? Or some other technique? This has been my greatest challenge when drawing fur, especially on the flecked or tabby animals. Thanks for any tips!

Rocky lived 15 years he was a mamas cat, he would piss in my shoes all the time, sill I loved the little guy. Now I have two dogs and dry shoes so it goes.

Thank you. 15 years is quite a long time! I'm hoping my cat lives atleast that long, but who knows, my friend Liza's cat lived until she was 22! crazy. What kind of dogs do you have? I've always wanted a dog, but have never had one. I find myself wanting a giant schnauzer very much. I love their little beards
