Description
Shattered I8β x 8β pencil on hot press board.
This is a small pencil drawing of a smashed light bulb. Set up as a still life with low lighting and a low view (worm eye) this was a very interesting drawing to execute. This is only the first part of a diptych type presentation. Thank you

the trick is and you know that as a greatΒ photographer to see that, that beauty is in the small things around us and the symbolism that comes with it

I would really like to practice this technique. Would you mind if I recreated this? I would credit you and link to this on any site I shared it on.

First time I see a bit of damage on the paper from the pencil strokes on your work (bottom left) Of course I didnΒ΄t doubt the validity of your work before this so it makes no difference lol, but still a first is always an interesting thing

incredible feat. couldn't tell if this was an actual drawing until i saw the wire end that has a scribble look, hopefully no offense, but if u mind telling how long the process of this drawing took it'd be appreciated.

This is really cool, I especially admire the careful attention paid to the metal fibers in the bulb itself. Also, the reflections are great as well!

would you say anyone can draw this good? or would you say it's a natural ability? cuz one of my dreams is to make my drawings this realistic some day.
Come check out my work and give me some critics I'd appreciate that.

Yes and no, it takes a lot of drawing, years of it to be able to master this technique but if you have the desire and the passion there is no reason you canβt. What will happen is you will find you artistic language the one that says this feels right which might be different from this style
Good luck to you
