Shattered I8β x 8β pencil on hot press board.
This is a small pencil drawing of a smashed light bulb. Set up as a still life with low lighting and a low view (worm eye) this was a very interesting drawing to execute. This is only the first part of a diptych type presentation. Thank you

Took more than I can count, taught life drawing at the American Academy of Art in Chicago for five years as well. I have seen more naked bodies then a rock starβ¦.

I just came back from turning in my first portfolio for class!!! eek!!!
But yea, you know what... naked bodies all for the sake of art. Sounds a lot more interesting than a rock star. Why? Cuz you can keep looking at the paper and it can be a naked person forever!!! haha... idk... i'm just rambling off now...

ok i might have overreacted..cubism is a interesting way of showing reality..and i can appreciate abstract everyday, but this is beauty in the plain, this is wonder in the ordinary...picasso gave us a means of seeing the world differently, while your work shows us the beauty of our mondane and boring lives, the details we miss...not all of us have the time or desire to break the world apart into pieces and put it back together like picasso did, but we can see the beauty of "boring stuff"...this is where you outdo him in my book, your work is easy to understand, while he is his own philosophy..keep up the good work
